VIOLETA M. VALCHEVA

Violeta M. Valcheva is a creative director, writer, and strategist working at the intersection of art, AI, and Web3. She creates bold, interdisciplinary work—from film and performance to NFT collections and digital strategy—and co-founded NFEST, Barcelona’s first AI & Web3 festival.

As an artist, Violeta’s body of work varies greatly in scale; she operates across a contrasting range of formats, from aesthetic solos to group concepts, from dance to theatre, site-specific performances to video and AR installations. As well as choreographing her own performances, she worked as a dancer and curator in Berlin. She often collaborates with designers and performers for both commercial, as well as community and independent productions. Violeta has worked in diverse productions in Berlin (galerie gerken, Reinbeckhallen Berlin, Gallery Weekend Performance Event, Alte Münze, Theatermitte), London (UAL, Tate Modern, Barbican), Italy (Polverigi & Ancone) and Tokyo (CSM x TUA ). Her latest short film ''Fade & Float'' was selected for numerous festival and won Gold Laurel for Best Shorter Short at the London Short Film Festival.

In the Web3 sphere, Violeta is focused on creative direction, tech copywriting, project management, partnership affiliations and community outreach. 

A firm believer of fostering community, she organizes both educational and social events around the topics of Web3 & AI and other innovative tech topics. Alongside the events she organizes, Violeta does public speaking and leads roundtable conversations about varied deep tech -related topics.
